Camps
Day-long rider camps are the perfect way for riders to get involved with the League. These camps are designed primarily for beginner and intermediate riders who are thinking about trying cross-country mountain bike racing. Advanced riders will also learn new skills and be grouped accordingly for challenging rides with experienced coaches. Camps run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Camps are open to riders who:
- Are high school aged students
- Are interested in improving their riding skills
- Might be interested in racing in League races
These camps include:
- Basic & technical skills clinics;
- Fun & challenging rides for a wide range of abilities;
- A chance to meet and hang out w/ riders from many other teams;
- A great way to get ready for your first season of training and racing.
2008/2009 Schedule:
- December 13: SoCal Riders Camp #1 (Aliso and Wood Canyons Park, Laguna Niguel, Orange County)
- December 14: SoCal Riders Camp #2 (Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park, San Dimas, L.A. County)
- February 7: SoCal Riders Camp #3 (Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park, San Dimas, L.A. County)
Camp Costs:
- Day camps cost $45, which includes lunch and snacks.
